Ali Mansour , MD, is a neurologist with sub-specialization in neurocritical care. Along with the members of the neurosciences Intensive care unit at the university of Chicago medical center, he is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of patients with acute neurological illness. Such disease states encompass conditions with ischemic (low blood flow) and hemorrhagic (blood vessel rupture) stroke, brain aneurysms and vascular malformations, traumatic brain injury, cerebral edema, status epilepticus, as well as patients with severe Guillain-Barre syndrome and respiratory failure associated with myasthenia gravis.

Dr. Mansour's research interests include brain Imaging as a biomarker in neuro-prognostication, civilian penetrating brain injury and Intracranial pressure physiology.
